In what has been the strangest of years, we take a look back over 2020 at Ryan's...
Feefo Platinum Award for customer service
Our year started with a bang as we were lucky enough to receive the new Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award, an independent seal of excellence that recognises businesses for delivering exceptional experiences, as rated by real customers. The new Platinum Trusted Service award has been given to businesses who have achieved Gold standard for three consecutive years. The Feefo Gold Trusted Service award recognises those who have collected at least 50 Feefo reviews in a year, and have achieved a service rating of at least 4.5 out of 5.
It's been a year of qualifications...
Back in February we celebrated how qualified our team was. Since then three more of our staff have passed exams including Chloe Mowles who completed her ACII in August this year. Chloe worked tirelessly to complete ten exams to achieve this advanced qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
We launched our first Beach Hut of the Year Competition!
As we came out of the UK's first lockdown we decided there was no better time to launch our beach hut of the year competition and we're so glad we did. Our competition was simple, with beach hut uses rather than simply aesthetics playing a key role in judging. In October with the help of judge Vicky Gunn from Millies Beach Huts we crowned our first Beach Hut of the Year winner "Axminster & Lyme Cancer Support Beach Hut"
Even though we haven't been together as much this year, we have still managed to do our bit for our chosen charity East Anglian Air Ambulance and have raised £1,575. We got up and went yellow from home, we continue to donate our tea and coffee money every month whilst working from home and we finished the year with a Christmas jumper day from home. In addition to this our Managing Director Robin Belsom organised a virtual Ekiden relay which has raised a whopping £2,400.
We couldn't finish this round-up without a special thank you to our staff and customers. When lockdown struck in March we were lucky that our staff could continue offering the same service but from home. It hasn't been easy, with Wi-Fi glitches, new staff to train and missing the office, but thanks to our dedicated staff our service has never faltered.
We must also thank our amazing customers for supporting us with five star customer service reviews and recommending us to your friends, family and business associates. We look forward to talking insurance with you again in 2021!
